The Subject Property is approximately 15 acres in size with approximately three acres cleared and previously developed. The property is located on the south side of US Route 1A, which is a heavy commuter route between Bangor and Ellsworth on the east coast and the gateway into Acadia National Park. Properties along Main Road in the vicinity of the Subject Property are residential and commercial. The previously developed portion of the property contains a large concrete pad, small wood framed one story building, and an area of wooden telephone poles which appear to have been footing for a structure. Following the assessment of the site and the regulatory closure following Maine Department of Environmental proceedures by CEG, the property was sold and redeveloped into a Tractor Supply Company retail store.
